🏐 Sydney United x Coach Taichi Kawaguchi Holiday Camp – Don’t Miss Out
Sydney United Volleyball Club is proud to deliver a rare international opportunity this April, as we welcome Taichi Kawaguchi to Sydney for an exclusive 2-day holiday camp.
Taking place at Blacktown Disability Sports Centre on April 15–16 (9AM–5PM), this camp is designed for athletes aged 14–19 years looking to take their game to the next level.
🌏 International Experience Comes to Sydney
Coach Taichi Kawaguchi brings nearly a decade of professional playing experience, having competed at the highest level in Japan’s SV League with Wolfdogs Nagoya, as well as seasons in Europe.
His playing career highlights include:
- 🇯🇵 Representing Japan at U20 and U23 national level
- 🏆 Awarded Best Libero and Best Digger during his time in Europe
- 🔥 Part of a historic 99-game undefeated high school run alongside world-class athlete Yuki Ishikawa
📈 Proven Coach with Global Impact
Transitioning into coaching, Kawaguchi has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young coaches in the game.
His coaching achievements include:
- Head Coach of JA Gifu Rioreina, leading the team from 7th to 2nd place in the Japan Pro League
- Coaching with globally recognised US academy No Ezy Buckets
- Founder of One Volleyball Japan, developing athletes across Japan and internationally
His coaching philosophy combines Japanese technical precision, elite defensive systems, and high-performance mindset training — making this a unique opportunity for Australian athletes.
