In applying for membership with Volleyball NSW (VNSW), individuals acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Volleyball is an inherently dangerous activity, with the potential for serious accidents that may result in injury or death. By applying for membership, individuals confirm they have voluntarily read and understood this warning and accept the inherent risks associated with the sport.
By applying for VNSW membership, individuals agree they have read, understood, and acknowledged all terms and conditions outlined in this document. This includes, but is not limited to, the acknowledgment of inherent risks associated with volleyball, compliance with membership rules and obligations, consent for the use of personal information and images, and the release and indemnity provisions. Upon successful application, they will be entitled to the benefits, privileges, and services of VNSW and VA membership at the level applied for and purchased. As registered members, individuals agree to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the reputation of themselves, VNSW, VA, and the sport of volleyball. Failure to adhere to these standards may result in sanctions imposed by one or more of the aforementioned bodies.
Welcome to Sydney United Volleyball Club. By registering as a member, you agree to uphold the values, standards, and responsibilities outlined below. Our goal is to foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performing volleyball community for players, coaches, officials, and supporters.
All members must treat fellow players, coaches, officials, staff, volunteers, and spectators with respect and fairness at all times.
Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Members are expected to abide by the rules of volleyball, club policies, and any governing bodies, including Volleyball NSW.
Sydney United celebrates diversity and is committed to providing a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds, cultures, genders, abilities, and identities.
Discrimination or exclusion of any kind is strictly prohibited.
Players must comply with all health and safety policies, including injury management and equipment use.
Coaches, officials, and volunteers must act in accordance with safeguarding guidelines and the Volleyball Australia Code of Behaviour.
By registering, members consent to photography, video, and other media taken during club activities. These may be used for promotional, social media, or educational purposes.
Members may request restrictions on media use by contacting the club directly.
All membership fees and event/competition payments must be paid within the specified period of service.
Failure to pay fees may result in restricted participation in training, matches, and club activities.
Members who remain unfinancial may be reported to Volleyball NSW, which could affect their official registration status.
Members are encouraged to engage positively in personal, team, and community development opportunities offered by the club.
Respectful participation, punctuality, and preparedness are expected at all trainings, games, and events.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership at the discretion of the Sydney United Volleyball Club committee.
All matters will be handled fairly, with consideration for the principles of natural justice and Volleyball NSW guidelines.
By registering as a member of Sydney United Volleyball Club, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Code of Conduct and Membership Agreement.
