Player Insurance & Why Registration is Mandatory

At Sydney United Volleyball Club, the safety and wellbeing of our players, coaches, and officials is our highest priority. As an affiliated association of Volleyball NSW, all registered members are covered by Personal Accident Insurance when participating in any volleyball competitions, training sessions, or events hosted by Sydney United.

Why Registration Is Mandatory

To be eligible for insurance coverage, every participant must be registered with Sydney United prior to attending any club activity. This ensures:

• Full Insurance Coverage – Only registered members are covered under the Volleyball NSW national Personal Accident Insurance policy (managed by Honan Sport).

• Protection at All Events – Coverage applies across all Sydney United competitions, trainings, and official events.

• Peace of Mind – Injuries can happen at any time. Being registered guarantees you are protected before an incident occurs.

• Club & State Compliance – Registration helps us meet the requirements set by Volleyball NSW and Volleyball Australia.

• Support for Claims – Without prior registration, claims cannot be authorised or processed.

Important: You must hold at least a Sydney United Recreational Membership before any incident occurs that may give rise to a claim.

How To Claim
